Ding, ding, ding, ding… Dang, why didn’t I think of that!!!
Yep, that’s exactly what I was saying to myself the other day when I was reading a post over at “The Itinerant Entrepreneur“. Robert Dempsey is the creator of this fabulous blog and it’s always packed full of great information.
So I was reading his post “What I Did For $5 Bucks” and the bells started going off. Why the heck didn’t I think of that???
He wrote a report titled, “Discover Your Top 5 AdWords Competitors, And Their Ad Copy” and is selling it for $5 over at Fiverr.com. Now if you haven’t heard of Fiverr, it’s a site where you can outsource work and obviously purchase things as well for only $5.
I have used this site about 7 times now and have been very happy with the work I outsourced. You would think that for $5 it would be pretty cheaply done but that wasn’t the case at all.
I had this blog header created and the cover for my free report. I think they did a pretty darn good job. If you happen to need any of those services, I’ll give you the name of the people I used. Just send me an email and I’ll shoot that off to you. Anyway…
Selling a report on their site never entered my mind.
Now don’t panic when you think about writing a report. It’s something you need to be doing anyway in order to give your readers some valuable information. Like the report I’m giving away for free if you opt-in to my newsletter. All you need to do is find out what people want to know, write a report on that topic and sell it on Fiverr. You just might sell a few and you’ve just made some easy money. Pretty darn cool.

Using Fiverr is a great way to get services like header graphics on the cheap – I highly recommend it for everyone here that is building affiliate sites. It can add another level of professionalism and add more credibility to your site.
It’s also a great way to generate leads for your business. I’ll leave that to the video you linked to for the explanation.

You are so very welcome and your post really did set those bells off for me! I couldn’t take the credit for that idea. You explained the process so well in your video so why reinvent the wheel right! Plus, I’m sure everyone will learn something new by visiting your blog.
I have used them for driving traffic to a couple of my sites. One was a total bust so received a refund on that one and the other is a slow trickle. But for $5, having someone else do the work, I’m in!!!

A lot of people use fiverr to promo their ebooks its a very cool tip to share, and I like how you didn’t try n “steal” the idea for yourself.

Always great to see your smiling face!
When I heard about Fiverr it was more about graphics work, etc. I’m SO not a graphics person so this really came in handy. EBook covers, blog and website headers, those types of things are way out of my norm. Have had some really great people do some awesome work for me and darn, for only $5… Never even crossed my mind to sell eBooks. I wasn’t searching for any information like that so guess that’s why I never ran across anyone promoting them. Will definitely take that into consideration though and you bet I’ll be putting that into play soon.
I’m learning so much being in the community of some awesome bloggers. Give credit where credit is do and share the love. Not everyone will want what I have to offer so why not send them to people who might! To me, that’s what this is all about.
