First I would like to give credit where credit is due. Thanks to Perry Marshall for sharing some of these quick free tools. I always appreciate it when people introduce me to tools that will make my life much easier.

1. FormatITFormat It
Boy is this a handy tool for formatting emails. This is how it works. First you enter your desired column width in the appropriate box (their suggestion is no more than 50 but I prefer 60). Then simply cut the text from whatever application you are using and past it into the text field, or compose the text directly in the text field. You can also start over by just pressing the “Clear Text” button.

Once you have entered the text into the field, click the submit button to send the text to be formatted. Within a few seconds, you will be transported to another page that will contain your formatted text in a similar text field. Select the entire text by clicking on it and copy it to your clipboard, then paste it back into your application.  Ta da…

Also, if you have a character, a combination of characters, a word or a combination of words that you would like to remove from the text, enter the exact characters that you want removed in the filter text field before clicking submit.

2. Google Wonder WheelWonder Wheel
This tool is a visual representation of the way Google’s search engine distinguishes the relationships between keywords. It only takes a few seconds to understand how this all works. It’s pretty simple and easy. It also clarifies how Google’s bot originally chooses sites for ads in the Content Network.

To access this tool you would just go to www.google.com and do a regular search. Once your search results appear, right under where you inputted your keywords you will find a link titled “Show Options.” Click on “Show Options” and a column will appear on your left. Under “Standard View”, the second option will be the link for “Wonder Wheel.”

3. Google’s Keyword-Based Search ToolGoogles Search Tool
I was not familiar with this Google keyword tool but glad Perry introduced it to me. There is a video to the left that will explain exactly how this tool works. Basically, you can put in the URL of the site you would like to get ranked and Google will provide you with relevant keywords to use. Of course, it won’t promise you anything, but it’s a great little tool for keyword research.

4. Sending Large Audio or Video FilesYou Sent It
If you have an audio or video file that is 100 megabytes this tool is great for sending these huge files. They have several different types of services you can use plus they will give you a 14 day free trial. Then it’s pay as you send. No monthly fees.
