I spent last week at the “More Heart Than Talent Mindset Conference” in Dallas, TX and boy was it amazing. This is my first conference and I now understand why people encourage you to attend such events. Most people associate these types of conferences as motivational feel good sessions. In reality, that’s not what it’s about at all.
Each speaker shared their story and I was rather surprised to learn that the majority of them started in this industry a whole lot worse off than me. Some were already six figures in debt, about to lose their homes and had failed miserably in this industry for the first 6 to 8 years. Yep, I didn’t have it so bad.
Then they followed up with what they had perfected. We are all aware that in order to succeed in this industry we all need skills. Each speaker had their unique skill that they had mastered and trust me when I say, they are all now millionaires. I had aha moments the entire 3 days. I learned something from each one of them that I will now start applying to my business as well. That’s why it’s so important to attend functions such as these so you can learn from millionaires and pick their brains during the breaks or over drinks.

Not only did I learn from millionaires but I met so many amazing people who have the exact same vision as me. This is where you get to network and meet people. It’s very beneficial as well and you can build some lasting and amazing friendships. People you may consider joint venturing with down the road.
Yep, I will be attending more of these conferences in the future. I had such an amazing week, I learned so much and met some wonderful people. It was definitely a successful week.
If you haven’t attended a network marketing conference yet, make it a goal for this year. You will come away from that not only empowered that you too can achieve success in this industry, but you will learn some skills most people aren’t aware of unless they are mentored by individuals such as these.

Learning from millionaires has been clear to me. They really are the ones that have the know-how. I also often thought their “Daddies” must have helped to get them started, but you are right, there are many testimonies of a hard breakthrough. All the best, Nanette
Thank you Nanette for your comment. I once thought the same way you did until I heard a lot of the stories and how people had to struggle just like the rest of us. That’s what makes it all the more real. These millionaires are no different then you and me and had to start at the very same place.
