I Can See Clearly Now

in My Ramblings

readingYep, after nearly 10 years I finally am seeing more clearly now… Unbelievable and a story that needs to be shared.

So here is the scoop….

I purchased an eBook several months back called “Vision Without Glasses“. Like SO many people today, I wear reading glasses and have for the past 10 years. The doctor visits aren’t that bad yet because I haven’t needed a stronger prescription in a number of years and I still see perfectly without them.

But, I did have a problem driving at night only because the lights in front of me had like a haze around them. I just felt much better wearing my glasses when I drove at night than me being so nervous about not seeing as clearly as I use to.

So, I read the book and found it really fascinating…. Wow, you mean it’s really that simple to improve your eyesight naturally through some simple exercises. To say the least, I didn’t immediately start applying what I had read… It was probably just not remembering to start implementing some new exercises into my life then just being lazy.

So I went through the book, picked out the exercises I enjoyed the most and started doing them on a regular basis. Now these aren’t hard or anything. They are as simple as just splashing cold water on your face or taking more breaks throughout your day. Paying closer attention to your facial expressions when you read and not straining your eyes to see something. Simple things really..

So one night I had gotten in the car to drive home and I thought I would try to drive without my glasses and see how far I could get. To my amazement, I made it all the way home with absolutely no problem at all. No more haze around the taillights in front of me.

My next experiment was reading without my glasses. Although my eyesight isn’t 100% improved yet, I can read more without my glasses now so I know it’s just a matter of time before I can put them down for good.

What I have learned from this is that once you start wearing glasses or contacts, it’s like putting a band-aid on a cut. The band-aid itself will not heal the cut, only protect it. That is what glasses and contacts do for you.

As a matter of fact, I’m typing this note without my glasses and I see everything just fine. I’m still working on the really small print. I am improving this area through wearing the pinhole glasses. What an amazing invention…

Takes some getting use to I admit, but if by me doing these exercises will improve my eyesight naturally without me ever having to wear reading glasses or permanent glasses ever again, it’s totally worth it… Wish I would have known about this sooner. But, I’m just thankful that I found it when I did.

So, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. I will report back after I have laid my glasses aside for good and maybe even buried them in the backyard just for good measure. Put a little cross there and may they rest in peace sign. Just as a reminder of some of the areas of my life I’m able to continue to improve.

If you would like to check out this product yourself, you can hop on over to “Vision Without Glasses” and read up on this yourself. Trust me when I say that I’m not here to talk you into anything. I just wanted to share my story of how I am improving my eyesight naturally and how I will be putting my glasses aside in the very near future ~ permanently…

To your health and your sight….
