I hope you have found my posts helpful in your search for how to get free traffic to your website. This is the last method for now that I would like to share with you.

Method #7 is using Viral Marketing:

Viral marketing is an idea that spreads and an idea, while it is spreading, actually helps market your business or cause. Kind of like me saying a word to you and then you turn to the person next to you and tell them and they tell the person next to them and so on and so on.

Viral marketing actually started with the email service Hotmail.com. When the company first launched they included an advertisement for Hotmail with a link to their site at the bottom of each email. Each time a friend would receive your email, there would be an advertisement for their service. All they had to do was click on the link and sign up for the service.

This example demonstrates all the key elements of viral marketing. Its cost to the advertiser is minimal. Instead, it takes advantage of existing resources by making everyone who uses the product an involuntary spokesperson. It exploits common behaviors, such as sending an e-mail.

Here are three good sites I recommend if you want to use viral marketing:

With using any of these viral marketing sites, you can:

  • End up getting leads on demand for less than $1.00
  • This can be accomplished through emailing 30,000 opportunity seekers each and every month
  • This can lead up 7-15 leads every three days
  • This can end up being 75-150 leads each month
  • The costs will be $16 to $30 per program
  • Leads can run you $0.20 to $2.00

Viral marketing is a great way to get traffic to your site. Although you can use the free methods these services offer, you won’t generate as much traffic. Sometimes we have to spend a little to get a little more.

I hope this information has been useful with your search for how to get free traffic to your website. We all need traffic in order to generate sales so the more informed we are of the different methods available the better off we will all be.

Good luck with implementing any or all of these methods and I wish you the best of luck. Let me know how it goes… I always appreciate your comments.

Hi Adrienne. Is viral marketing same with e-mail marketing? I’m confuse. I hope you can make a post explaining viral and e-mail marketing. I look forward to your response. Thanks!

Hey Bob,

Man, you are buys today aren’t you! :-)

Viral marketing is really an idea that spreads. It takes form in a lot of different ways. Seth Godin is the master of explaining this so read his post, What Is Viral Marketing. You’ll get a much better understanding. Hope you find that helpful.

Have a beautiful day Bob..
