There are numerous ways to get free traffic to your website. Some you are probably aware of and maybe there are some that you aren’t. In the next several posts I’m going to share with you different methods of how to get free traffic to your website.
Method #1 is Article Marketing:
Article marketing has been around for a very long time and there is a reason for that. It is still a great way to drive free traffic to your website. The purpose of article marketing is to write an article about the benefits your product has to offer. Never ever sell in your article; that is left for the resource box. In the resource box you want to write a clear call to action along with the link to your website.
By distributing your article to several different article sites, people will search for the topic they are interested in, locate your article, read over the benefits you are providing for them and then click your link to be taken to your website.
People can also place your article on their website as long as they include the information in your resource as well. This is a great way to get even more people to view your article and then visit your website.
You can submit your articles to different article directories or sign up with an article submitter service that will do it for you. The more your article is seen, the more people will visit your website.
Another great way to get your articles seen is to create a free ebook and submit it to sites such as Free ebooks and Get Free ebooks. The best articles to write are “how to’s” or “tips”. Just take a few articles that are related to each other in some way and then put them all together. For instance you can do something like “7 Tips to Better Health”.
Once you have created the free ebook, just convert it to a PDF. You can accomplish this by using a PDF converter service or Open Office. Both of these options are free methods.
Those are just a few of the ways to redistribute your articles. Article marketing is still one of the best ways to get free traffic to your website that is laser targeted. If you haven’t done article marketing before, now’s the time to start.

Hope you found this information helpful. Stay tuned to my next post where I will reveal Method #2.

Its easy to do, it takes little time but it can increase your website traffic, sales and of course, your income.
Thanks for the comment. It’s always appreciated.
Great article Adrienne, article marketing is by far one of my best methods of getting traffic. Hey and thanks for the heads up on the PDF converter. Keep putting out that content:)
Thanks Ontarian for your awesome comment. Always a pleasure to hear from you. Hope all is well with you.
Hi Adrienne! I totally agree. Article marketing is a good way to drive more traffic to your website. It’s very effective as long as you have a good article. Quality has also been the key to get good results in article marketing. As much as possible, do away from article spinner softwares as they may lessen the value of your article. Cheers

Hey Bob,
Article marketing may have slacked off for a short time in the eyes of Google but you can’t beat a good article. You are also right about the spinning softwares. I have tried a few just to try and cut down the amount of time I spend writing articles and putting them on different sites but I found I spent just as much time rewriting it myself but these softwares didn’t do that great of a job. So just write unique quality content and get those backlinks out there.
Thanks Bob, I appreciate your input on this post.
I think I need to do article marketing. My website is so simple and it doesn’t generate a lot of traffic. Your post is really helpful. Thanks!

Article marketing is not as effective as it use to be. You should really have a blog and start writing helpful content for your readers and the search engines are more apt to picking up that content than articles these days. Just a suggestion if you don’t already have a blog.
