How to Create an RSS Comment Feed to Facebook & Twitter

by Adrienne Smith on March 7, 2011

in Online Tools

I recently learned a really cool trick from none other than Miss Sally Neill.  I have learned so much from her so if you haven’t visited her blog yet, be sure to stop by and say hello.

Now I didn’t set up my blog feeds to my Facebook or Twitter accounts mainly because I prefer sharing those myself.  But what I do like is setting up my comments from each post to filter to my profiles.  Once they click on the comment, it will immediately take them to my blog post.  Tada…

You can learn how to set yours up by watching this video below:

Hope you found this helpful! Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts! Look forward to hearing from you.

If you enjoyed this post, please share it with your friends!

Love for you to join the conversation by leaving a
comment or subscribing to my RSS feed.

Cool trick indeed, I have just created a Facebook page for a client and will give this a go (I also added a blog to their site).

Hey Leo,

I set this up on my Fan Page too and will see what kind of response I receive from this. I think it’s such a cool trick.

Be sure to tell Sally I said Hi!

Awesome stuff Adrienne!

I also use Twitterfeed myself, very handy! Everytime I hit publish on a new blog post its already on my Twitter updates… Saves a little bit of work. :)

Adrienne, that was awesome! I went right over to YouTube to make sure I was subscribed to your channel (and I am). But now I’m also getting emails every time you upload. I’m not trying to miss out on these goodies.

I always knew that I could sign up for Twitterfeed but I love they way you showed exactly how to set it up. Thanks a bunch – this is a huge time saver – ’cause you know that I already spend way too much time in Twitter :)

Hi Ileane,

I appreciate that. Videos are a wonderful way to teach people how to do certain things. I think it’s just a much easier way to learn for most. I know it is for me. Glad you enjoyed the video and I went and subscribed to your channel as well. I KNOW we can learn a lot from each other.

You do love your Twitter and what better way for your followers to see how many people love your blog then to share your comments with them. I think it’s such a cool way to share the love… Glad you enjoyed it!

Have an awesome day!

I did this for only a few blogs but I love the idea. For people that post once a day or less it can never get your Twitter overcrowded and at the same time you are helping others :)

I sent you an invitation to a new service some friend of mine created that I think you might like :) It is very much related to this!

I thought it was a pretty cool idea as well. Now they can actually see people interacting and then it will take them to that post. Pretty nifty!!! :-)

Thanks Brankica, can’t wait to see what that is. Appreciate you thinking of me.

Love, love, love video tuts :-)

This is yet another one to add to my list of things to do (actually doing it now since your tutorial made it sooo easy!) because I think it’s a good idea to do so, especially for twitter!

I love them too Kesha… Makes it much easier to follow and implement ourselves. You’ll have it set up in no time at all.

Have fun!

I watched Sally’s video and set mine up – it’s so cool seeing the comments appear on your facebook page! I have yet to check how many click throughs I might have as a result of it.

Enjoy the journey.

I had to take mine off of Facebook because I now get a LOT of comments and it was taking over my wall. I do love them showing up on Twitter though. I think this is a really cool feature.

Thanks Many, always a pleasure to see you. Hope you are having a wonderful day and looking forward to the weekend.
