How to Add a Gravatar Image to Your CommentsWho is not in love with social media marketing these days? It’s the perfect way to build relationships with your target audience. One of the easiest ways to do this is by including a Gravatar with your comments on other blogs. You can even do it on your own.

Still Wondering What a Gravatar Is?

It’s an image of yourself (or company logo if you prefer) that you use to brand yourself. It’s also known as an avatar for those that recognize that term. When people set up a Gravatar, you can scroll through the comments and see if you like their content and then click through to their site and check out what they have.

So Where Does the Gravatar Go?

Since most people use WordPress blogs, whenever you post a comment your gravatar will appear next to your comment. If people like the look of your gravatar or your content, they can just click on that image and it will take them directly to your site! Pretty cool, huh?

How to Set up a Gravatar…

1.   Set up a free Gravatar account by clicking here.
2.   When you leave comments on blog posts, make sure that you leave the same email address as the one you set up your Gravatar account with. This is how it will be able to magically connect your Gravatar image to your comment…

Tada… It’s as simple as that.

Have fun with this!

Is that really it? I was lately thinking about setting up a gravatar and was thinking to set aside some time to actually learn about the process. Your post was of great help in this. Thank You.

Yep, that’s all there is to it Bob. Was actually thinking about resurrecting this post since I’ve had so many visitors recently that still don’t have their gravatar set up. It’s so easy to do! If you need any help, give me a shout. I would love to see that lovely smile of yours. :-)
