Attraction marketing basically consists of two things, leadership and marketing. Two very essential traits in order to have success in the online industry. Network marketing is an industry with a 97% failure rate mainly due to people either not willing to do the work to develop their leadership skills or they aren’t willing to learn how to correctly market their business. Attraction marketing does work if you are willing to do the work in order to learn the necessary skills to succeed.
Attraction marketing is about creating leaders. In order to build a successful business, you have to stand out from all the rest. You have to prove to people that you have something to offer, that you can help them learn, that you can help them grow into leaders. You want to connect with people who want the same things, have the same desires, determination, drive, willingness to learn, the qualities of a leader.
If you were looking to get into the online industry and someone approached you who smelled like they hadn’t bathed in two weeks, whose clothes were all torn but they wanted to recruit you into the best opportunity with a sensational compensation plan, I’m willing to bet you wouldn’t join them. It’s about attracting people who are a lot like you. Leaders are not leaders because of the products, the company, the compensation plans or the marketing systems. They are leaders because they are good at understanding and leading people.
Attraction marketing is also about good marketing. The old way of talking to anyone within three feet of you just doesn’t work anymore. Mainly because you have to find your target market which means people who are interested in what you have to offer. Not just anyone you meet on the street. If you are exceptionally good at that type of marketing, you are among the rare few. The majority of us aren’t.
You need to be selective and only choose the people you want to work with. This is your business and if you are just trying to recruit people just to have people on your team, you are going about this all wrong. You should only work with people who are also motivated and willing to do the work. You need to approach this with the mindset that they need you instead of you need them. That is the best way to build a successful business.
Attraction marketing does work if you are willing to learn how to be a good leader and how to market your business.
