Article marketing is a free method and the best way to really grab the attention of your target audience. Sometimes your article can land on the first page of the search engine shortly after it has been posted if you have grabbed some really enticing keywords. Here are 6 successful article marketing tips that may help:
1. Title:
You need to start with the title instead of starting with the article. Do your keyword research and once you have located the keywords your target audience is searching for, put those keywords in your title twice.
2. First Paragraph:
The keywords are very important and they should also go in your first paragraph as well. The first paragraph should also introduce your readers to what you are going to share with them in the article itself. Make it your introduction to your article.
3. Body:
The body of your article should consist of the benefits your products has. People don’t want to know about details or extras, only the benefits of how your product can help them. Don’t give all the juicy stuff away because you want to just bring curiosity to them so they will be enticed to click through to your link in your resource box.
4. Last Paragraph:
The last paragraph should sum up what you just told your reader in your article.
5. Length of Article:
Your article should be between 300 and 500 words in order to keep the attention of your reader. Some sites recommend that they at least be 250 words. If your article is going to be longer than 500 words, consider breaking it up into two separate articles.
6. Resource Box:
This is the only place that you are allowed to “sell” what you have to offer. Most people don’t have successful resource boxes. Without going into a lot of detail on this particular subject, you can read how to create a successful resource box at “Article Marketing 101“.

I have been involved in article marketing for quite some time now and I find it to be very enjoyable.
