Everyone is fighting for the same thing in the online industry and that is to get ranked at the top of the search engines for your main keywords. That’s how you are able to get traffic to your website. So how do you accomplish this task if you want to rank in the organic listings? By building plenty of high quality backlinks to your site. Want to learn my secret weapon for building one way backlinks to your site? Well, read on my friend.
If you are new to the industry than you are probably not familiar with what a backlink is. A backlink is just a link on a site that is pointing back to your website or blog. Let me explain what I mean by that. Let’s say you write an article and in your resource box you have a link to your site or your blog. That is a backlink.
Sites with more high quality links pointing back to them are considered more relevant by the search engines. What do I mean by high quality links and what are the ways to accomplish this?
Sites that are considered high quality are sites like EZine Articles, Squidoo, Hubpages and YouTube. Those are just to name a few. The search engines scan through your information and because they are on these particular sites, they are more likely to see your content as relevant. Whenever you put good content out for others to read you want to point your links back to your other Web 2.0 sites.
Most people who are new to this industry finally get around to creating their own website but get easily frustrated because they aren’t showing up in the search engines. Well, Google usually takes their time ranking your site because they want to make sure you are going to stick around for awhile. So what you need to do is start creating content on these Web 2.0 sites just like you own those sites.
You also want to be sure to use anchor text throughout your content that points your target audience back to your site. If you aren’t familiar with what anchor text is, it’s “this link” that is active when you put your mouse over it. Some of your anchor text needs to be connected to your main keywords but you don’t want to overdo it. From time to time, just connect other important words within your content that you feel relevant.
Usually people are taught to put tons of content online so that the more you put out there, the more you will be noticed. Then everyone does the work and still are frustrated because they aren’t seeing the results. The fact of the matter is that the more relevant your content is, the less you have to put out. You remember the phrase, work smarter not harder. Well, there you have it.
Building backlinks is the best way to get your sites ranked in the search engines in a short amount of time. But, your content has to be relevant and always remember that this is your reputation you are building.

Nicely put I agree for the most part.
What I dont think I agree with that at all honestly.
You definitely have the right to disagree… I know for a fact that these methods work or I wouldn’t have posted it. If you have an even better way, please share. People are always willing to learn from others on what works for them. Thanks for the reply. Positive or negative, they are always welcome. That’s how we learn is from each other.

I think, that you are not right. I can prove it. Write to me in PM, we will discuss.
Well Nemckoff, I chose to post your reply because I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You say that you can prove that this method doesn’t work. Well, I can prove that it does. So, why don’t you share with my readers a better method that you have tried that has proven to work for you so that everyone can learn. That’s what this blog is all about. Helping each other become better at what they are doing.
