When you become an affiliate promoting affiliate products you will be given your own special link. Although it isn’t always necessary to cloak affiliate links, you will find that some sites won’t accept them and some people won’t click on them. Seeing an affiliate code appended to the URL is a big turn off for many.
It’s always best to purchase a domain name using the main keywords you are going after. This way, when people see your affiliate link, they won’t be tempted to remove your affiliate ID and access the main site. That’s the worse way to lose a sale.
2. Write articles:
Writing articles is a great way to introduce people to your product. It will also help you get recognized as an expert in your chosen niche. People will read your article and if they are interested in learning more about what you have to offer, they will visit your site and purchase the product. But another way to get a lot of recognition is by having other website owners publish your articles on their site. This is not only a great way to gain recognition as an expert in your field but it’s also a great way to build up links to your site.
3. Focus on a Particular Niche:
In order to gain focus on a particular niche affiliate marketers will fill their website or blog with content that reflects their product or service. There are plenty of free resources that will help you determine your focus on relevant niches but the service I use is Micro Niche Finder. This particular service will not only help you pinpoint market niches from searches on Google but it will also let you know just how much competition you will have, how many people are searching for the exact keywords and if there are domain names for the keywords you are searching for. I have found it to be a really great tool.
