Ever have the problem that you “can’t think of anything to write about”? I took a writing class a couple years ago and the instructor of the class told us that there is no such thing as writers block. People just use that as an excuse because they can’t think of something to say at the moment. When you use excuses, that is what you are telling yourself therefore, you won’t be able to come up with ideas.
When part of your marketing is writing articles, lens, blog posts or autoresponders and you continue to run into this problem, carry around a pen and paper with you all the time so when an idea comes in your mind you can write it down real quick. Another way is to promise yourself that you are going to write to your list every day for 30 days and you will be surprised at the number of ideas that will pop into your head.
More ways you can come up with ideas to write about are to look at titles of articles in the various article sites. You can get some really great ideas from looking at what other people are interested in reading. Or check out your favorite blog and see what topics they are discussing as well.
You can always just think of questions that your prospects may want to ask you. You’ve always heard to get inside your prospects mind so you will know how to approach them. Think of yourself as your own prospect and think of questions you would want to ask.
Unfortunately, everyone always seems to move toward opening emails that have a negative headline instead of a positive one. Research those types of headlines and see how you can use them to your advantage.
There are so many different ways to come across things to write about. Whenever you are online searching or you read an email or blog post, remember some important tips that you can use in writings of your own and always jot your thoughts down while they are fresh. You can revert back to them at a later date and you will find that you have plenty of topics to write about now.
